Deep Calls To Deep
A new season falls upon another transition is before us
Sitting in stillness
Listening to the sound of water as it freely flows down the stream
Reflecting upon the rough waters endured
Gazing into the water as it flows over the rocks
It is a reminder
What your body, heart mind, and spirit have withstood
All the tears shed as you called and reached out
Waiting to be heard, to be helped
This is a season which you will soon leave behind
You find yourself gazing back into the water
Stillness is felt even as the water continues to flow
Turning ever so slightly something draws your attention
In that moment
Beautiful colors appear before you a reflection of a rainbow is seen
A deep breath is taken
In that breath, a sense of peace that surpasses all understanding fills your heart
Remembering all which you have been shown in the midst of pain and suffering
Words freely rise from your heart as quickly as the water that is freely flowing down the stream
Thank you, Lord
You have given me strength to endure each current and wave that has come crashing down, around, and over me
You have seen every tear shed as I cried, reaching out for help
You continue holding me gently in your strong and loving arms
Always providing a ray of light and hope that is so greatly needed
Guiding the way even on the darkest days
Leaving this season changed ready to journey into the new season
With You, Together
A sense of hope is felt deep within my whole being
Not because I know what lies ahead because I have been graciously shown who does
You
Take my hand as we continue Traveling Home Together
With love, Kimberly
